“BE… From Passion and Purpose to Product and Prosperity” is a collaboration between Ashley Black, Korie Minkus, and Lisa Vranken. A book for women, by women, “BE…” leads readers on a self-reflective journey to connect the spiritual to their lives as entrepreneurs. Black, the mind behind the revolutionary FasciaBlaster, shares the wisdom that brought her prosperity.
Entrepreneurial growth has always been a challenging path, especially for women. This is one of the deciding factors why Ashley Black, Lisa Vrancken, and Korie Minkus were motivated to write “BE… From Passion and Purpose to Product and Prosperity.” Ashley Black, ABA’s Entrepreneur of the Year for Health and Beauty, with her award-winning body sculpting and recovery tools, FasciaBlaster, came on board with the project because of its ties to spirituality, and the ability to transfer it into business.
This project started as a late-night conversation about the lack of excellence in the business world, and grew into a book where the three authors talk about the spiritual fortitude that it takes to achieve a high level of success without going mad. Black began to escalate her spiritual growth because of a near-death experience in her 20s. “All I can say is that you come out a different person,” she says. “For me, I didn’t know that Fascia and helping people heal in a different way was my purpose. I just knew that I was different. That experience gave me a deep-seated need to explore my inner light.”
For Black, meditation and self exploration became the cornerstone of her business approach, “Spirituality was the genesis for the science,” she says. She has been living in Costa Rica for four years, where she says she feels there is a collective environment of people looking to connect with themselves. The creator of the FasciaBlaster product suite defines her business as “manifestation” and “intuition” where she inspires others not only to be as healthy as they can be physically and emotionally, but to parlay that into work or passion project success. “BE…” introduces concepts around brainwaves, explaining that it’s the brain’s harmony and cohesion with the heart that allows connection with the universe. The goal of tapping into this Divine Feminine Energy is one reason why the three authors sought to touch on the subject from a scientific point of view. Black says that it’s not “whoo whoo” and coherence can enrich the entrepreneurial journey and keep you plugged into greater knowledge.
Black, Minkus, and Vranchen achieve this harmony in the brain by bringing daily awareness to the need for it. Mindfulness brings fullness to life. For Black, a passionate student in the art of Qigong, meditative exercise, yoga and surfing, developing other parts of herself outside of being a mom and work is a key tenant of her prosperity. The book covers scientific points throughout the chapters, and at the end of each chapter, the self-exploration exercises are put into real-world practice. A take-away from “BE…” is that it gives you the foundation and blueprint to develop yourself. Black describes it as building a house: “If you’re going to build a house, it is like doing your Pinterest board, getting your architect and architectural plans together and breaking ground. We help readers do this with their visions for their lives. And the first step is to gain clarity around an authentic vision.”
As explored in the book, prosperity is a goal that we all strive to achieve, but it is a subjective concept. Black explains that prosperity is completely individual. She goes on to explain, “I had the Bentley, the home in Beverly Hills and a closet full of Louboutins, but that was society’s vision for success. My version of prosperity is growing my own food, napping in the afternoons, and working mornings from my laptop. It was like I needed permission to define my own prosperity and that is what we help readers excavate in this book.” Human beings develop by intonation and alignment: a wisdom that Ashley Black discovered after living in many different American cities before arriving in scenic Costa Rica. The book explores how our environment helps us manifest and thrive better. In finding alignment, Black was able to link her ideas and feelings, achieving fulfillment.
Yes, “BE…” is a book designed for mental cleansing and strength, which in turn, leads to physical strength and business strength. Female entrepreneurs in search of work and personal prosperity are given a “thank you” in an atypical way, as Black provides a completely free weekly Facebook live, where the concepts in this book are explored.
The writers also have plans for BE… retreats and business development seminars. It is a reading that pushes you to be yourself, be your true self, and apply it in business. These authors are looking for female entrepreneurs to put their message out there. An audience will naturally follow when you build a content connection – instead of attracting people who don’t match your vibration. As one of the first books with a mix of themes such as spiritualism and belief around money, Black describes it as “a book that adapts and follows every reader, but makes all women great entrepreneurs.” It is a book you can return to time and time again as you evolve.
Black is expected to be named as one of the few self made female billionaires in the next few years, and she attributes her financial success to the concepts in her new book. “BE… From Passion and Purpose to Product and Prosperity” will be released on June 28th. To order, click here.
