Lil Wayne was dancing loudly for his 39th birthday – celebrating with his music. The rapper’s close friend, Drake, hosted a private party at Swan’s hotspot in Miami, where most of the music he played all night was songs by the two rappers. They played “Drake and Lil Wayne songs all night long.” she said, adding that there was a line of women outside trying to get into the private party. “They bought the whole restaurant and had a line of people trying to participate in the exclusive event all around the block [of the] Miami Design District,” the source said, adding, “There were tons of girls. [inside the party]. The ratio was at least eight girls for each boy. ” The insider also noted that the guest list was all friends with OVO and Wayne Campo, “but the word had to get out because so many girls showed up wanting to come in. The birthday party guests included Quavo, Ray J, FoodGod, YK Osiris, Maino, Preme, David Grutman and Brooklyn Johnny. At one point, everyone toasted the birthday boy with Ciroc shots. The festivities were apparently centered on favorite things from the artist “How To Love”, including the ramps of the skate park where Weezy was seen posing for photos as well as on the loot including bandanas personalized with “Tunechi” and “Weezy”, and The Green Bay packers outfitted caps that paid homage to Wayne’s favorite NFL team.
