In August, UFC bantamweight Sean O’Malley accompanied controversial rapper 6ix9nine to UFC 265 in Houston, TX.
The couple appear to have become friends, as evidenced by O’Malley who got the rapper’s logo tattooed on his shoulder. During the 6ix9ine event, he got involved in a little rowdy with fans.
Footage from a fan’s cell phone shows the rapper walking past rows of seats. Then what appears to be a can of beer is thrown behind him. As the box is tossed you hear someone off the camera say, “Hey 6ix9ine, you’re a pussy guy, you’re a bitch, I’m gonna tear you to pieces.
You’re a fucking shitty boy!” 6ix9ine responds by appearing to throw his drink at the camera and lash out at someone nearby. Security then tries and wins, in a chorus of other insults. If you look up 6ix9ine’s past, it doesn’t It’s no surprise that he is publicly mocked in this way.
The rapper, real name Daniel Hernandez, was charged with sex with minors in 2015 for acts committed against a 13-year-old girl. In this case, he agreed to a plea bargain that resulted in him registering as a sex offender in upstate New York.
In 2019, after several separate legal issues, he was put on trial for his alleged involvement in a street gang. This led to a plea deal in which instead of a 47-year sentence he was sentenced to 13 months on the condition that he testify against another suspected gang member.
He was taken into house arrest in early 2020 and was released from those restrictions last August.
